Rural and outdoor sites are all about physics. Trees, hills, and metal buildings can block or bounce signal. We walk the site, map obstacles, and choose hardware and mounting heights that make the link reliable—rain or shine.

• Site walk & elevations: Check trees, grain legs, ridgelines, and structures.
• Link budgeting: Select antennas and channels that survive weather and distance.
• Clean pathways: Prefer clear line-of-sight; document alternatives if not possible.

Outdoor Wi-Fi Access Points

Give your yard, shed, or lot dependable coverage with outdoor-rated APs. We place them where people actually work—doors, loading areas, machine sheds—then tune channels and power to avoid self-interference.

• Proper placement: Aim for working zones, not just “closest wall.”
• Ethernet backhaul: Use cable where possible; mesh only when it truly helps.
• Guest vs. internal: Separate networks for visitors, scanners, tablets, and IoT.

Long-Distance Links (PtP/PtMP)

Bridge internet or LAN between the house and outbuildings—or across fields—without trenching fiber the whole way.

• Point-to-Point (PtP): High-throughput links for a single remote building.
• Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP): One central mast serving multiple barns/shops.
• Camera backhaul: Reliable paths for NVRs and remote viewing.

Power, Mounting & Weather

Outdoor gear needs stable power and smart mounting. We keep it tidy and survivable.

• PoE simplicity: Single-cable power/data runs with surge protection.
• Mounting: Eave/soffit mounts, poles, or roof brackets; avoid vibration hot spots.
• Burial & conduit: We specify conduit type/depth and coordinate trenching with a local contractor.
• Backup: UPS for radios/switches so links stay up during short outages.

Security, VLANs & Cameras

As you extend your network, keep risky devices in their own lane. Cameras, gates, scales, and IoT shouldn’t see staff laptops or office PCs.

• Safe remote access: VPN instead of open ports; lock down admin pages.
